Martijn Icks


Martijn Icks is a professor, researcher and historian, specializing in ancient history and character assassination. He obtained his PhD at the University of Nijmegen (NL) for The Crimes of Elagabalus, a study of one of Rome’s most notorious emperors, which was published in three languages. Together with Eric Shiraev, he edited the volume Character Assassination throughout the Ages published by Palgrave MacMillan (2014).
