Anne-Linda Camerini

Vita

Anne-Linda Camerini is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Communication and Health (ICH) at the Università della Svizzera italiana in Lugano, Switzerland. She obtained her higher educational degrees at the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena, Germany (M.A. in 2006, media studies, intercultural business communication, English literature and Italian linguistics) and Università della Svizzera italiana (PhD in 2013, communication science). Her research centers around the concept of health literacy with special interest in the interplay with new technologies (ehealth). Furthermore, she studies the role of media in the development and well-being of children and adolescents. She currently coordinates the longitudinal MEDIATICINO study (www.mediaticino.usi.ch) that runs from 2014 until 2019 following students in Italian-speaking Switzerland during their transition from childhood (10 years of age) to adolescence (15 years of age).
